Amedros: "Turkish or International" Amedros Tip by drmarina

Amedros, Istanbul: 1 reviews and 0 photos

The restaurant has seating inside and out with the inside having the better ambience.
The menu is quite limited compared to other similar restaurants with both turkish and international food offered. I'd say all the food has a distinctly french flavour.
All the staff are helpful and give excellent recommendations. The wine is good and they advise on that too. The only thing is the limited desert menu is rather dull.
Try the chicken sald with walnuts and oranges. Its amazing. All the staeaks are top quality and beteer than any of the other restuarants I went to in the area.
It's not the cheapest but prices are competitive with the others in the area. It is a very relaxing place to eat yet still in the bustle of Sultanhamet

Favorite Dish: Chicken sald with oranges and walnuts. Lots of chicken and some great salad too - rocket and curly endive. A choice of 3 dressings but i think it goes with the yoghurt one the best. There is enough for two people.
