"Take a ferry to Vancouver Island" Province of British Columbia Things to Do Tip by easterntrekker

We took an easy ferry ride to Vancouver Island and spent a wonderful few days exploring the area. There are some great hiking trails, with old-growth rainforests where the trees form a cool canopy , warm beaches and of course majestic mountains with glittering glaciers and snow-capped peaks.

The ferries are somewhat expensive if you have to commute alot but the trip is worth it .
It is $34.00 for a vehicle return and $10.00 for each adult.
