The greenwich foot tunnel connect Island Gardens on the Isle of dogs to Cutty Sark garden.
Opened in 1902 it is 1217 feet in length and about 50m deep. It sis glazed with white tiles. There is a lift which takes you down to the tunnel and also one at the other end to bring you back up.
