  Another pagoda...
by cheezecake_deli

Founded in 1903, the Xiling Seal Engravers' Society was an academic society devoted to the study of inscriptions on bronze and stone tablets. It chose its site on a hill on Gu Shan island. The compound contains a stone pagoda, several buildings and a pavilion on the hilltop (the delightfully-named Sunshine Pavilion) with a small teahouse and wonderful vistas. Entry to the compound is free.

Directions: Gu Shan is located in the northern part of West Lake.
