"Haggis" Scotland Local Custom Tip by Sprucebeer
Scotland Local Customs: 109 reviews and 144 photos
Ok I’m sure you’ve heard of haggis. Well of course when in Scotland you must try some. They often serve it as part of the breakfast buffet in the hotels. But it’s much more fun to try it during a traditional evening of entertainment if you have the chance. I mean an evening of bagpipers, highland dancing and of course haggis. They will serve it by way of a “traditional” ceremony of the haggie lol, accompanied with tatties and nips (potatoes and turnips, yum my favorite). The ingredients are a mystery but don’t be afraid… try it!
