In my opinion, this shopping center has more fancy stores than most shopping centers in Orchard Road. I like the reddish granite facade on the building. Takashimaya, the Japanese department store, is here.

Actually, I like the Plaza Singapura (Dhoby Ghaut MRT) better, but the shopping is a bit less fancy while still being nice.

I also like the Paragon, across from Ngee Ann City, primarily because that's where the Singapore Airlines ticket office is located. Before or after going to the ticket office, I often walk around the Paragon for a short while.

The air conditioning at the Specialist's Shopping Centre seems to be nice and cold. However, that place is really not a shopping centre, just the John Little department store, Starbucks, and the OCBC Bank (which owns the building...now how many tourists know that!).
