If you venture out towards the West Coast beaches on Hwy 23, you can divert down Te Mata Rd to find this lovely waterfall. Te Mata Rd is just past Te Uku heading towards Raglan, on the left side of the road. The Bridal Veil Falls are signposted, and it only takes about 10 mins to drive in there from the main road.
When there you can take the short walk to the top of the falls, and view the basin below. And if you have plenty of time you can walk down to the bottom to view the real Bridal Veil effect of the waterfall. This takes about 15mins to get down, and a little longer to get back up.
