Green Garden Hotel Restaurant is on Jln Kartika Plaza and is a very popular place to eat (and stay) for Australians.

The meals are very big and cheap. The restaurant is very breezy, a welcome relief from the heat on the streets and also picks up a lot of passing trade from the streets, which is how we found the place.

They have Western, Indonesian and Chinese on the menu and some great desserts.
Try the banana splits with vanilla ice cream it only cost Rp23,000. I would also recommend the satay's, 10 of them in a peanut sauce for 25,000

The big breakfast is excellent as well. We have eaten here many times and enjoyed it every time.

Bubba Gump's is also on Jln Kartika Plaza, opposite the Bali Garden Hotel. It is a theme restaurant with loads of memorabilia from the Forrest Gump movie. (The movie is always playing on their tv screens).

Its not the sort of place you go for a nice quiet meal but its well worth a visit. The staff are picked for their lively, outgoing personalities and are very entertaining. Kids Love this place!!

Meals are massive, so be careful what you order.
Large Prawn meals average price is 75,000.
Expensive by Bali standards but the meals are great!!
Drinks are expensive.
