"Fun in the Sun" Suncscape Puerto Aventuras Tip by pamstravels

Sunscape is an all inclusive hotel in the beautiful resort town of Puerto Aventuras about 20 minutes south of Playa del Carmen. Mid priced accomodations with good service. Several restaurants on the property to choose from - mexican, italian, seafood and standard buffet. While we were there it is Mexico's independance day and the hotel threw a big party on the beach complete with very authentic Mexican food and free flowing tequila.

The room was okay, very cold and damp feeling but we weren't ever in there except to pass out, so it was just fine. The shower had the BEST water pressure. I was temped to take the showerhead home with me. The mini fridge was always well stocked and our room kept cleen.

Not a lot of night life at the resort but they do offer tours to party the night away.

Unique Qualities: The snorkeling at the resort is the best I have ever tried! We saw a tuna, a 4' baracuda and a couple large flounders. The fish are used to being fed by tourist so they just swarm around you expecting food. Felt like I was swimming in a well stocked aquarium.
