Early spring when the sun is out the air is cool and the leaves are just buds on the trees is a wonderful time to take a wildflower walk. Pick a trail and you'll see yellows and blues peaking out from the leaf litter. One place to go is the Heron Rookery.

Address: CR 1300N at CR 400E
Directions: From SR 49 take Indiana Boundary Road east the the Brummitt School. Go north on Brummitt until you get to CR 1300N. Continue east of CR 1300N until it ends at CR 400E. The parking lot is just south (10-15') from the intersection.
