Lander Bar: "A good bar" Lander Nightlife Tip by toonsarah
Lander Nightlife: 1 reviews and 1 photos
The Lander Bar shares the Coulter Block with the Gannet Grill and Cowfish Restaurant. We went there after dinner and enjoyed some really good microbrews from the Snake River Brewery - a porter and the excellent Organic Trail Ale. The place wasn't that busy but livened up a little when a local started singing and playing his guitar. This didn't appear to be an official part of the evening's entertainment - he obviously just enjoyed music and wanted to share!
The Bar's website says:
"Located in the historic Coalter Block building, built in 1907, the Lander Bar blends drinks, people, and cultures. The decor is an eclectic mix of all things Western: ranching, climbing, mining, hunting, and Native American memorabilia adorn the walls and ceilings. Even more interesting than the decorations are the people."
Sounds more or less accurate to me!
Dress Code: If there was a dress code it wasn't obvious - it's a pretty casual place!
