The Christchurch Tramway has stopped its services in 1954. They are refurbished to their original pristine condition and became a transportation that brings the tourist to various attractions in town.

The 2.5km tram track connects the central city shops and attractions, The Arts Centre, Christchurch Art Gallery, Christchurch Botanic Gardens and Cathedral Square. Tickets can be purchased as you board the tram.

The friendly tram drivers will provide a commentary on your 25 mins journey. We can hop on and off the trams anytime to explore the sights. The tram tickets are valid for two days so that you can hop on and off anytime and visit the attractions at your own pace.

Hours: every day; Summer (Nov ? Mar) 9am ? 9pm; Winter (Apr ? Oct) 9am ? 6pm

There is a River & Rail combo where you could experience Christchurch Tram and Punting on the Avon for $19.00.
