"Day Trip to Mochima Islands" Puerto La Cruz Things to Do Tip by CLillard

My favorite thing to do there is take a boat trip to the Mochima Islands. It included snorkeling, trip to several different islands, lunch, and we saw many dolphins jumping in the water. Departs 9 am returns 4 pm

We go by the Cave de la Virgen. The first beach it stops at is called "El Faro". We stop there to swim or relax. Then we go to Isla Arapo, where we swim. Then we have lunch there in an outdoor restaurant (where there are iguanas looking for food under the table). Next they take us snorkeling.

Different tour companies offer this. If you are staying in a hotel, you can ask them.

Directions: You can purchase a boat tour at Centro Comercial Plaza Mayor (mall). http://www.ccplazamayor.com/ The little hut to buy the tickets is located next to the canal outside where all the restaurants are.
