The Grill by Antonio's: "Unique and Really Delicious" Top 5 Page for this destination Tagaytay City Restaurant Tip by KookieDough

Tagaytay City Restaurants: 68 reviews and 137 photos

Another masterpiece by the same owner of the already famous restaurants in Tagaytay - the fine dining resto Antonio's and the all-day breakfast destination Breakfast at Antonio's. Structure and interiors are the same clean and no-fuss style as Breakfast's. Food is just as great.

At first glance, the items on the menu seems your ordinary grill dishes. But look at the description and ingredients closely and you will see the creative twist on each dish.

Price is, of course, still at the higher side of the budget, but really worth it.

This restaurant is a must-try for everyone. I myself will go back to try the other dishes.

Favorite Dish: The Grilled Bangus (milkfish) is superb! Quite unusual version of this dish, but definitely delicious. The fish is topped with the right amount of tomatoes, coriander and other spices and grilled to perfection. 385 PHP per order which is good for 2 to 3 persons.

Their Kangkong Salad is a unique and perfect side dish for grilled dishes. The spicy and sour combination will really work up your appetite. Fresh kangkong (swamp cabbage) shreds are tossed with raw onions, vinegar, spices... and slices of hard boiled egg (a real surprise, but great combination)! You can have a choice of beef slices or shrimp pieces as sort of toppings. 210 PHP per order with shrimp, 200PHP with beef.

Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: Lies among the group of Cafe Lupe, Mile-Hi Diner, etc. along Aguinaldo Highway
Price: less than US$10
Rating: 4
Theme: Barbecue
