"Exploring Ellensbrook" Margaret River Things to Do Tip by arianne_1504

Margaret River Things to Do: 152 reviews and 324 photos

If you're a bit of a history buff, then you really should stop in at Ellensbrook Homestead, where Alfred Bussell and his family lived. Situated in the Leewuin Naturaliste National Park, it's a National Trust building, so you will need to pay a gold coin donation towards its upkeep. There are picnic tables on site, so you can pack a lunch and eat it there. You should also take the short walk to Meekadarrabee Falls - it's beautiful. Ellensbrook Homestead is open Saturdays, Sundays & Monday Public Holidays between 10am and 4pm. Beware, you cannot bring dogs.

Address: Ellensbrook Road
Directions: Turn off Caves Road (which is about 10kms from Margaret River), and it's then about 4 kms along Ellensbrook Road.
