However in 1686, in the year when the christians bundeled out the turks, the castle district suffered very havy damages, some gothic buildings survived this ferocious battle (and others).
In the XVIII.century, the rest of the gothic buildings were reconstructed in baroque style. In fact, in the present day the aspect of the streets in the Zone of the Castle is typically baroque.
