When we arrived in Pienza we were in need of a coffee before exploring the town. Located on Piazza Dante Alighieri, just before you enter through the Porta a Prato is a Café/Bar called Il Caffe', and we figured it couldn't be too bad as it was filled with locals who were shopping at the adjacent market.

Favorite Dish: As we just wanted a quick caffeine hit, we stood inside at the counter and knocked back an espresso. It was good, and you can't complain when it only cost 80 euro cents each.

The café also serves sandwiches and other snack and cakes. Service wasn't anything special but was friendly enough.

There is also one toilet, for client use only of course.... BYO toilet paper though.
