Trevi's fountain (1732-1762)
This fountain has a long story behind.
It has been built in about 312 years from 1450 until 1762. The water comes from an old roman aqueduct (Acqua Vergine) from Tivoli.
The first version is from Leon Battista Alberti, then worked on it Gian Lorenzo Bernini and finally finished it the architect Nicola Salvi.
Don't forget to throw a coin into the fountain if you want to come back to Rome one day !! :)
To meet new people... it's a great place !
