Aristocrat: "Home of Barbecue Chicken" Top 5 Page for this destination City of Manila Restaurant Tip by yellowbell
City of Manila Restaurants: 79 reviews and 110 photos
Aristocrat like Max's is one of the oldest restaurants in Manila (1936). Being strategically located in Roxas Blvd, people then and now dine there after promenading along Baywalk, watching a ballet in Cultural Center or hearing mass in Malate Church. A stone throw away is the US Embassy.
It has a family atmosphere and has been a place where couples had their 1st formal date (go ask my aunt)!
Business is brisk especially during holidays as groups of people reserve the place.
