"Cooper River Falls" Washington State Things to Do Tip by GuthrieColin

Washington State Things to Do: 178 reviews and 283 photos

Cooper River Falls is only about 45-50 feet (15 m) tall but it is of the fanning cascade variety which I happen to find very appealing. The waterfall looks fairly straightforward from the base but upon closer inspection one will notice that the water actually slides about 70 feet (21 m) in it's 45 foot drop. The majority of the water falls off to the side of the falls but at higher flow it is quite impressive.

Directions: Cooper Falls is North of Roslyn until you reach the Cooper River Road. Drive about 3 1/4 miles to a turnout on the right that occurs just after a dirt road branches off to the left.
