The water taxis are a fun way to get from the Inner Harbor area to various points on the water such as Fell's Point, Canton, Little Italy and Fort McHenry. An all day pass cost $8 (didn't appear to be any way just to get a one way fare) and the water taxis are fairly frequent, one pulls out and another pulls in. Buy your tickets on board

But I learned the hard way that they weren't the fastest method of transportation, I just missed one and then we waited for about 15 minutes to gather people, another 15 minutes to get to Tide Point (2nd stop) and another 15 minutes to walk to LP Steamers which appeared to be 2 blocks on the Water Taxi map but about 12 blocks in reality. Fortunately, they saved me some crabs :-)

On a sunny leisurely day, this would be a fun way to see the city and get some pictures of the Inner Harbor. I imagine some people just do a round trip on it for the boat ride.
