The Poljanska River is one of two rivers that flow through the middle of Skokja Loka. It flows just to the east of Spodnji trg after coming through the southern suburb of Puštal and joins up with the towns other river – the Selscica to form the Sora which then becomes the Sava after joining up with the Ljubljanica in the capital. The river is best viewed in Puštal from the wooden bridge called Hudiceva Brv (Devils footbridge) where you can see it flow over a weir.
