Favorite thing: Little Pied Cormorants are plentiful on the Yorke Peninsula. This picture was taken from the Edithburgh jetty. These coastal fish eaters make their nests in the large cliffs that overlook Troubridge island. When fishing they dive deep into the water reaching up to 45 metres below the surface. Because they lack the oiled feathers of oceanic birds they spend a lots of time flying or perching in the sun in attempts to dry their wings.
