"If you're just visiting..." Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Tip by apollo51

If you're just visiting NYC.... it might sound weird, but don't worry about going to any of the sights, just find them by walking around the city. You'll run into them and it's a lot more fun to just 'run into' the World Trade Center or Statue of Liberty from across the water, than go directly to them in a tour bus or something like that. Exploring NYC aimlessly is a great way to experience it.
