Morar Crafts: "A Craft Shop with so much more" Top 5 Page for this destination Highland Shopping Tip by scottishvisitor

I don't normally like shopping but this craft shop was something else. It is a family run business, the wife hand paints beautiful glassware, the daughters spin wool from their own hebridean sheep which they then knit into cosy hats and scarfs and finally the husband who is a local artist captures the scenery of the area beautifully. The chickens posed prettily around the door and almost everywhere else around the croft, but the best thing for me was a horse called Dune who came on the Spanish Boat from Egg, he was so jealous of his friend Hector the Hebridean sheep. Every time I tried to take a picture of the sheep, Dune stood right in front of him. If I could have I would have brought him home with me!!

What to buy: Highland scenery is beautiful we saw some lovely paintings of the landscape around Loch Morar don by the owner you can see some in their website & also order on line.

What to pay: What ever you can afford - most items are reasonable the paintings are a bit expensive
