Close to the apsis of the cathedral, you see the Kapitula, built in late Gothic style with a Renaissance portal. It was built in 1519-29. Inside (as well as in other buildings in ulica Kanonia) you can visit the Archdiocesan museum, founded in 1896. In this museum you can admire Silesian holy art works, many ancient manuscripts (in particular the liber Enricianus of 1270, which is the first written in Polish) and the first Polish bell, built in the 13th century.
The museum is open from 9 to 15. Close on Mondays.
