Around the village you cand find som fountains that takes water from the springs of the Hornachos's sierra in to the village. People used to came here to wash and pick up water for daily tasks. today they are to refresh and for the animals. they date from the moorish period or even before and they've been used untill the water arrived into the houses at late 20th century. my grand mother still ramember when she had to go for water or washing and play with other kids while some palce was cleared to wash.
