Jasmine Lodge: "Sauna anyone?" Khett Siem Reab Hotel Tip by dimanche

Khett Siem Reab Hotels: 135 reviews and 214 photos

The only reason I booked my stay at this guesthouse was because it was cheap. I have learnt my lesson in not letting the prices of accommodation be my deciding factor in future. I opted for a non air-conditioned room, thinking that I could brave the Cambodian heat and determined not to have any comforts. The fan was mounted on the wall and it was quite useless. It felt like a sauna everytime I stepped into the room. There were times I was desperate to just sleep at the balcony area where it was so much cooler but it was where the drivers and staff slept. The floor was quite dirty and sandy as well. Unless Siem Reap is my last stop and I've used up most of my accommodation money, I would probably pay a bit more for a better room.

Unique Qualities: The staff and drivers were very friendly and helpful. The only plus point of my stay there.

Price Comparison: least expensive
Price: less than US$20
Theme: Pension/Guesthouse
