"Heavy Sweaters" London Packing List Tip by LiLz

London What to Pack: 218 reviews and 157 photos

Luggage and bags: I carried a roll of duct tape in my suitcase, which came in very handy when one of the zippers broke.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Because of the cold weather, I was almost always bundled under layers of clothing and a heavy coat. For our daily outdoor excursions, I ended up switching between a couple heavy sweaters , changing the tops I wore underneath. In very short order I realized that I'd overpacked. I wish I'd realized how few items of heavy clothing I'd need.

Photo Equipment: I panicked when the battery for my digital camera ran down, but was able to find another with a bit of searching. I've since learned to take an extra battery and memory card whenever I travel.
