Short term rentals: "Roman living" Rome Hotel Tip by juliansf

Rome Hotels: 1,225 reviews and 1,218 photos

I have been to Rome three times. Twice I have rented apartments. The apartment I rented around the corner from the Pantheon was small, funky and had a ghost. On another trip, the sublevel apartment a block from S. Giovanni in Laterano, was large but had plumbing issues and a visit from a scorpion.
However, when I go back to Rome, I will rent another apartment because nothing else allows one to enjoy Rome as the Romans do so completely. Getting to know a neighborhood--bakery, cleaners, restaurants, food shopping is a relaxing and rewarding emersion into the city.

Price Comparison: least expensive
Price: US$40-80
Theme: Other
