"Castle chapel" Bled Castle Tip by Willettsworld

Bled Castle, Bled: 81 reviews and 198 photos

The castle chapel is extremely small and was built in the 16th century in Gothic style. The chapel is consecrated to the Bishops St. Albuin and to St. Ingenium. The interior was renovated in the Baroque style around 1700, when it was also painted with illusionist frescoes which are very colourful and fresh. Their is also a painting of the castle donor Henrik II and his wife Kunigunda above the altar.
