"Island Krk" Croatia Things to Do Tip by lukec

Croatia Things to Do: 530 reviews and 902 photos

The biggest and most inhabited island in the Adriatic. It is connected to the mainland with a bridge - Krcki most (previously also known as Tito's bridge). North-western parts of the island are flatter and have more vegetation, while south-eastern parts are more barren and rise to higher elevations. Beaches are mostly rocky. There are some pebble and stone beaches, however they are hard to reach without a boat. There is a big pebble/sand beach at Baska (more touristic) in the SE part of the island and several smaller pebble beaches in Stara baska (less developed and in my opinion, more beautiful). The picture shows Stara Baska.
