A-Ri-Rang Korean Market: "No Frills But Excellent Korean Food" Top 5 Page for this destination Albuquerque Restaurant Tip by AlbuqRay
Albuquerque Restaurants: 154 reviews and 232 photos
A-Ri-Rang is actually a Korean market; however, hidden in the back is a small restaurant with two tables for four and three bar stools. Don't let this fool you. Hannah Yi cooks there. She had the Fu Shou House restaurant at one time and also cooked at the Korean BBQ House when it opened. You cannot go wrong with anything on the small menu. The prices may seem a little high but the quantities are large and in most cases one entree is probably big enough for two people. The cabbage kimchi is good but the cucumber kimchi is great. All meals come with free corn tea (actually made with solomon's seal root). Not only is the food good but the people are friendly and fun. The prices are a little out of date but you should read this excellent review.
Favorite Dish: Hard to pick among the DolSot BiBimBab ($8.95) with its many toppings and crunchy rice, the huge Seafood Pancake ($7.95), or the JapChae ($9.95) with its vermicelli noodles, beef and stir-fried vegetables.
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: On the east side of Eubank Blvd. just north of Indian School Road
