L&L Hawaiian Barbecue: "Island-Style Fast Food" L&L Hawaiian Barbecue Tip by SFHulaGIrl

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, San Francisco: 1 reviews and 0 photos

Believe it or not -- a branch of the Hawaiian chain can be found right in the midst of the Financial District! You get huge portions for a small price. Open most evenings until 7:00 p.m. Closed on Sundays. If you're hoping for a lunch on a weekday, it's best to phone your order in, as they get really crowded during the lunch hour.

Favorite Dish: I've got all my friends and co-workers hooked on the fried mahi mahi and mac salad. A mini mahi mahi combo (two pieces mahi mahi, one scoop rice and one scoop of macaroni salad) is $4.75, plus tax, and is enough to feed the average person. A large combo (three pieces of mahi mahi, with a little extra rice and mac salad) is $6.75, plus tax. I'm also a fan of the Loco Moco - a hamburger patty over rice smothered with brown gravy and topped with an egg. The mini combo is $4.25, plus tax, and the regular combo is $6.25, plus tax. Other menu items include garlic shrimp, shrimp curry, chicken katsu, BBQ chicken, BBQ beef short ribs, burgers, kalua pork, spam & egg sandwich and Portuguese sausage musubi. Nothing on the menu is over $8.50, and that's for the pork laulau combo.
