Male Kudus are one of the most attractive and appealing antelopes in Africa, with their impressive curved horns and striped and spotted coats. Their huge horns are used to solve disputes with other kudus rather than self-defence. For self-defence they'd rather be paranoid and bolt at any sign of danger. They prefer wooded areas in Etosha and so are not very common on the open plains.

Where to find them?
Near waterholes with some woodland in the vicinity.

Interesting Fact: The Kudu?s horns are the longest of any antelope. Record length is 180cm
