The Western Australian coastline is constanly subjected to strong winds blowing across the Southern and Indian Oceans. As a consequence the coastal flora is dominated by tough low growing shrubs which burst into brilliant flower for Springtime. Our visit was early August and due to the unusual warm weather some of the plants were commencing to flower, how lucky we were. In a few more weeks time the trails would be a mass of colour.

Address: Coastline around Albany.
