The Maisel Syanogue was built in 1590-1592 by the Mayor of the Jewish Towin. Mordechai Maisel, who funded the extensive Renaissance reconstruction of the ghetto. The builders of this synagogue were Josef Wahl and Juda Gosdsmied de Herz. The original building was seriously damaged by fire in 1689 and was then renovated in the Baroque style. Is currently used by the Jewish Museum as exhibition space and a depository.

La sinagoga Maisel fue construida en 1590-1592 por el alcalde de la ciudad judia, Mordechai Maisel, quien financió la extensa reconstrucción del ghetto en estilo renacentista. Fue construida por Josef Wahl y Juda Goldsmied de Herz. El edificio original fue afectado seriamente por el fuego de 1689 y luego restaurado en estilo barroco. Actualmente se usa como sala de exposicion y depósito del museo judio.
