"Raffles Hotel is one of the..." Singapore Favorite Tip by tenghai

Favorite thing: Raffles Hotel is one of the few remaining great 19th Century hotels in the world. The hotel has a unique blend of tropical garden setting and classical architecture. Together with its rich history, Raffles Hotel is part of the very fabric of Singapore culture. This all-suite hotel is adjoined by a brand new arcade built in the same colonial style. It
includes a museum featuring memorabilia from a bygone era, a Victorian-style playhouse named Jubilee Hall, 70 retail shops. If you're there, it's a must to try the famous cocktail drink, Singapore Sling, which originated from Raffles Hotel. Originally, the Singapore Sling was meant as a woman's drink, hence the attractive pink colour. But today, it a drink enjoyed by all. So..if you're not staying in Raffles Hotel, drop by to take a picture or two & a drink or two!!
