Located on the campus of the Palau Community College is a memorial to Prince LeeBoo. Born in 1763 as the son of King Ibedul of Koror, he became a defacto ambassador of goodwill to England when he left his country with Captain Henry Wilson and the crew of the Antelope in 1783. His dream of returning back to Palau with all his new knowledge came to an end when he died of small pox less than a year later in 1784. Today he is buried in St. Mary's church courtyard in London, England.
