Burrunggui is the name of the entire area that the Aboriginal people of the area call "nourlangie", which is an Anglocized version of "Nawurlandja". This is one of the biggest/best preserved art and archaeological sites of Kakadu. At Nourlangie, you can walk to an ancient lving shelter, various art sites, and a lookout which gives an amazing view of the area. The area is well marked and gives quite a bit of information. This is about 1.5K walk (1 mile), so it's fairly easy to odo. Nearby is a 2.5K Anbangbang Billabong walk. There is also a 12 K bushwalk if you want to see more/have more of a challenge, but you do have to register with a ranger if you do the bushwalk. The others are just on marked trails and you don't have to register for that.
