"Métro" Metro Tip by zChris

Metro, Montreal: 102 reviews and 103 photos

The Métro is by far the best way to get around. A ticket anywhere on the line costs $2, but a pass will earn a hefty discount if one uses the Metro often. There are four lines, of which I've taken two, the green and the orange. Both run through the centre of the city. The green line is the most heavily used and oldest line and therefore displays its wear and tear a little more than the newer orange line, which features an LCD screen with news updates, weather, and een record sales updates. All lines have trains that run on rubber wheels to minimise noise and discomfort.
