  Wolf at the preservation center.

A cool place to learn about the preservation of wolves in California. After a brief slide show, we got a chance to see the wolves in person. Unfortunately, we weren't able to view the wolves up close. The whole experience runs an hour and a half.

Hours: Saturdays 1:45pm (reservation only)
$10 per person

My rating: 3 stars out of 5

Directions: From Points North: Highway 78 to 79 south through Julian. 4 miles south of Julian, see KQ Ranch Campground sign, turn left. When you see Wolf sign, turn right and a volunteer will escort you to the Center, do not proceed without an official escort.
