"Menchikov Palace" Palaces Tip by MichaelFalk1969

Palaces, Saint Petersburg: 103 reviews and 205 photos

The splendid Menchikov Palace was built by a close friend of Czar Peter the Great (the Czar appointed him as a military commander in the reformed russian army). Obviously this friendship resulted in great wealth for Menchikov, as you can see when you appreciate the artfully decorated rooms.

Address: St. Petersburg
Directions: St. Petersburg - go past the Ermitage, cross the river Newa, and turn left. On the right hand side of the street you will soon see the palace.
