The open-air Roman Pools are one of the most impressive sights in Gafsa. There are two pools which are fed by a hot spring and they seem very popular with the local kids. I had left all swimming trunks in the car, otherwise I'd have dived in. The pools are in a nice square which also contains a museum and the tourist office.
