"Old Police Headquarters" New York City Off The Beaten Path Tip by TexasDave

New York City Off The Beaten Path: 997 reviews and 1,314 photos

An imposing building that takes up the whole block, this building was the main police headquarters for NYC for over 60 years. Built in 1909, it was refurbished and converted to private apartments in 1988. It is now an ultra-expensive piece of real estate. One-bedroom apartments sell for $1.5 million (Wynona Ryder and Calvin Klein are two of this building's residents).

Located near Little Italy, at 240 Centre St, between Broome and Grand.
