Where to start?! There are a million bars and clubs in Toronto. First off, if you're looking for something a little different check out The Second City for some sketch comedy (the shows are always hilarious and who knows where the actors will one day end up considering this is where people like Mike Myers and Martin Short started out). Or we have a great theatre district which always has many popular shows playing, such as Mamma Mia and Lion King. You can pick up same day 1/2 price tickets for a lot of the shows. If you're looking to wear very little clothing and dance the night away there are many, many big clubs like Whiskey Saigon and Joker, or medium sized bars like Montana's, Left Bank and Indian Motorcycle Club, or the smaller places like Devil's Martini (cheap drinks on Thursdays). If you're looking more to sit and relax, listen to music and chat with friends, I highly recommend Ciao Edie on College St. West. Very funky and always a good time. If you're more interested in live music, a couple great small, intimate live music venues are the Horseshoe and the Cameron House which both offer a wide variety of musical talents.

Directions: Theatre district is located on King St. West, between University Ave. and John St. The clubbing district is just north of that on Richmond.
othercontact: For the Second City check out ww
