A Taste of Battle: "Overpriced scones but the Pimms was good." Battle Restaurant Tip by nhcram

A Taste of Battle is a place to rest your feet and enjoy a coffee or in our case a large jug of Pimms! We sat outside and the service was excellent. Unfortunately the scones here are hugely overpriced!! They are I must say delicious and come with jam and cream. One scone between two of you is sufficient unless you are really hungry. They are made on the premises but I feel they did not warrant the £3.10 price tag. There are tables outside to the front with a lovely view of the abbey and table to the rear in a shaded courtyard area.

Favorite Dish: The scones are lovely but as I say overpriced. The Pimms was good and well priced.
