A must see if you are visiting HCMC. Together with the Cu Chi tunnels they give you a good view of the Vietnam(American) war, if a little biased.
There are a lot of photos on display that shows the soldiers in battle, or the casulaties of war, especially of agent orange. They have a video screening that shows the effects of the Americans using chemical weapons during the war. It highlights how the chemicals still affect the vietnamese even today.
They also have a few display prison cells and old war planes/tanks on display.
It is very interesting to look at the comments written in the comments book. The different views about the war that people hold.
The images will sober you up to the horrors of war, especially for people like me, where war seems far away.
