"Great boutique hotel" Prescott Hotel - A Kimpton Hotel Tip by tere1

I stayed at the Prescott Hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. Its location couldn't be better, just two blocks from Union Square. Rooms are large, with king size beds, a sitting area and very nicely decorated, with marble bathrooms and good Aveda toiletries. Cable tv offers many channels. The service was also good though not outstanding.

In the afternoons they serve wine in the lounge, where there is a nice fireplace and it's a wonderful place to relax after a busy day shopping or visiting the city. There is no breakfast room but you can order breakfast to your room. There aren't many choices though and it's a bit on the expensive side. They have a restaurant though , the Postrio, where you can have your meals. I had lunch there once and it was very good. If you are driving, they have valet parking, so , you don't have to worry about it.
