"Singapore River Bumboats" Singapore Things to Do Tip by Cathy&Gary

Singapore Things to Do: 1,995 reviews and 3,531 photos

The best way to see the Singapore River is by Bumboat Tour, they are very cheap, around $12 and the best tours are at night when everything is lit up!!

Along the way you will see Raffles Landing Site, the Merlion, beautiful old colonial buildings, century old restored shop houses, and beautiful old bridges that are lit up by old style lamps.

The Bumboats were once used to transport supplies to ships and are now used for tours.

This is the perfect way to see life along the river.
The Bumboats have a taped commentary and run from 8am - 11pm daily.
